Determine Your Ring Size

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RING SIZE AT HOME

Measuring your ring size is so tricky. Your fingers fluctuate in size from day to day and season to season. Warm weather makes them plumper. Pizza night or a nice Chipotle burrito or bowl  will temporarily swell them up. A dip in the pool will shrink them down. Your finger size isn’t constant, and it depends on what you’re doing, and what kind of environment you’re doing it in. You’ll want any ring you purchase to fit you well, so how can you measure your ring size with confidence? And can you do it without leaving the house? Please keep all these facts in mind when measuring and know that no matter what size you get our rings can be worn as a midi ring too!

According to New York City’s Catbird, a popular fine jewelry store in Brooklyn, “Your ring should fit your finger comfortably; snug enough so that it will not fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle with some resistance.”

Please measure the finger that you would like to wear the ring on.

You can also measure your finger by following these simple steps:

  • Wrap a strip of paper, floss, string etc. around THE BASE of your finger and mark where the paper/ object meets itself
  • Straighten the paper/ object out and measure the length against a ruler. This is the circumference of your finger.
  • Compare your measurement against the following conversion chart to find your size
